Men’s Diabetes Nutrition Plans and Coaching!

An Apex Nutrition Diabetes Plan provides guidance for men who have been diagnosed with, or are at risk of developing, Diabetes Mellitus (type 2). With an Apex Nutrition Plan, you will learn what types of foods (nutrients) affect blood sugar, how to count carbohydrates, how to monitor your blood sugar for real results, which foods will benefit you, how to use these foods in a consistent meal plan, what are appropriate portions of all nutrients, a calorie level that will help you achieve or maintain a healthy weight, and even get easy, delicious recipes!

So far, you've selected your sex and nutrition education area (Diabetes). Our last step is to customize your plan according to your height. Since your ideal weight is based on your height, it gives us a good idea of your calorie needs for weight loss. By customizing this range, the calorie recommendations for weight loss in your plan will be more accurate. As you read through your plan, you will find that you are able to also make adjustments for you age and activity level. Please select your height:

Each Men's Diabetes & Weight Loss Plan includes:
  • A guide to walk you through your Plan, explain how different foods affect your overall wellness, blood sugars, weight loss, and provide context
  • A Men's Diabetes and Weight Loss Nutrition Checklist which enables you to check off healthy lifestyle habits as you master them
  • Nutrition Education specific to Diabetes and weight loss that will explain, in detail, how to count carbohydrates and use a high fiber to control your blood sugars
  • A mix-and-match meal plan that provides 8-10 specific food and portion recommendations for 3 meals and 3 snacks/day. Following the meal plan will guarantee a specific carbohydrate level and calorie level to help you meet your blood sugar and weight change goals. As you read through your meal plan, you will learn how to adjust your calorie level for age, activity level, and weight changes.
  • A recipe collection that compliments the meal plan - learn to cook with healthy, whole food ingredients (fast and easy recipes)!
  • A blood sugar monitoring tool that allows you to monitor your progress and identify food and exercise habits
